Hitting up the Rockies.

It has been a fabulous getaway in Calgary so far. I think the 269 pictures I took yesterday will have to be split up into different posts because even my mom may stop reading if I write a post that long. We started the day in a very Canadian way.

I love how close Calgary is to the Rocky Mountains. Prairies to the east, mountains to the west… you can’t get much better than that! Last fall my dad and I hiked Mount Yamnuska with my Aunt and I enjoy passing it every time we drive past. It is the mountain on the right that looks kind of like a fan. We made it to the top peak!

I will never be able to get enough of this scenery.

I think we are a little proud to be Canadian. Can you count the number of Canadian flags?

Racing the trains along the way. We won obviously.

This is one of the most beautiful mountains. Good thing I didn’t have to drive today… I wouldn’t be able to take 3289547 pictures out the window along the way.

I am just going to drive back and forth along this highway… for the rest of my life.
