Debut.

I know you have been waiting. I bet the anticipation has been killing you. Don’t worry, my red Runsie made it’s debut today!

How cute is the “love red” colour! Now I have some tough decisions ahead of me – which colour do I wear?! I’ll have to alternate because I love them both equally. When I got my black Runsie I had read on the website that it had a “hidden key pocket in the liner.” I love having hidden pockets to put my iPod in so I don’t have to run carrying it but for the life of my I couldn’t find the hidden pocket. Lulu did TOO good of a job with the “hidden” part of the pocket. I was content holding my iPod for the past couple weeks because it meant I was wearing the best running outfit ever. When I got the red Runsie I was checking it out and FOUND THE POCKET!

Now I can run with my iPod in my butt! I convinced my mom to come running with me this afternoon and she believes I am trying to kill her. We only did five miles but it was about a minute faster per mile than her usual pace. Our mile splits were 8:36, 8:33, 8:29, 8:36, and 8:33. I said we should do a progressive run after mile three because we had been running negative splits but someone didn’t want to. That same person also needed a bit more of a cool-down walk than usual.

It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon, the endorphins were flowing, I was wearing my new Runsie… a recipe for an awesome run.

Remember when I got my Runsie in the mail and it came with that wonderful new blue lulu lunch bag and I didn’t know what it said on it.

Apparently I just needed to look at the side of the bag. Duh.

In other awesome and exciting news, you may have noticed the Sweat Pink button on the right side bar of the blog! I am now officially a Sweat Pink Ambassador! You can search me on their website under “Ambassadors.”

The mission of Sweat Pink is

“We believe that kicking ass is best in pretty shoes. We’ve learned that real women sweat, and sweat hard. We know what assertiveness, strength, and ambition are the ultimate feminine qualities. We concede that sometimes it takes hours to get ready, but we’re also no strangers to just rolling out of bed and going. We’re convinced that we run faster in pink shoelaces. We believe in pushing ourselves, and we believe in giving ourselves a break, too. We’re all about the rush of endorphins and the thrill of the challenge. We’re all for looking great and feeling even better. We’re committed to finding out best fit, and making it stick. We sweat pink.”

How cool is that?! Plus, I will now be running in pink shoelaces so that automatically means I will be able to run faster of course!
