Another lovely evening of yoga with my mom. It was great to be back in that class and remember how inflexible I am… good times. Yoga is a great way to discover how many tight muscles you have! Hamstrings, calves, hips… tight tight tight! I love my lulu lemon yoga mat that my brother gave me for my birthday last year!
The sun was setting as we were going into yoga. It was BEFORE 7:00 pm. Here come the short days of winter!
We walked for ten minutes on the treadmill because we got to the gym early. My mom was walking so fast she was a blur.
I still had my gym wristband on from earlier that afternoon… well about an hour earlier when I was there for my run. I ran 10.0 miles on the treadmill. Eight miles were progressive and the last two were at a slower pace but with varying inclines. Want a really awesome kick butt (literally) workout? Add incline to your treadmill run… or any run for that matter!

Today I noted that sometimes the most awful looking food is the best food. Example? Dried mangoes.
Delicious! Yoga really was awesome tonight but I especially like the last 5 minutes. Lying on the floor and relaxing every muscle in my body and almost falling asleep = wonderful. I was ready for bed when we left the gym!
Next time I’ll just wear my pajamas to yoga.
