We have quite a few traditions in our household for Christmas Eve and each one is wonderful and always tons of fun. We played games as a family all day and enjoyed snacks, drinks, and laughs. I ran 7.0 miles this morning so that means I get 7 pieces of biscotti and 7 servings of chocolate fondue right?
This is what happens when we play games as a family. I voted that we put a timer on the scrabble game so it wouldn’t take so long but no one agreed so I had time to spare… which meant time to create inappropriate words.
Just kidding, obviously I love Scrabble.
After eating more fondue than should be humanly possible, we dawned our amazing onesies for a photo-op. If you have never tried on one-piece pajamas as an adult – YOU NEED TO.
My mom also has a onesie, so we make quite an attractive family. I think I should go running in this outfit tomorrow… thoughts? It is an extremely comfortable outfit so it may stick around for a while after Christmas! Cozy pajamas rock my world.
This is more accurately how we look.
Time to hang our stockings by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Nicolas soon would be there… the children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads… can you tell that reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” is another one of our traditions?
Have a wonderful sleep, an amazing SLEEP IN, and a relaxing, fun, and happy Christmas morning. Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and some quality time with your family. Thank you for stopping by this blog every once and a while (or every day – mom 😉 and I am wishing you all the merriest Christmas!
