I wish I was posting about an awesome run that I had today or that I was running in the Terry Fox Run, both of which I had planned to do this morning, but it’s a bit of an unexpected rest day today. I was so sick yesterday and throughout the entire night. It was some of the worst stomach pain I have ever experienced so by the time I finally fell asleep, it was just about 3 in the morning. I slept until 8, got up and got some water, then went back to bed until 10. My back is so sore this morning and my body is aching so it looks like a tea and Netflix kind of day!
It’s a good thing I stocked up on my tea selection. I went to David’s Tea to check out some of their new fall flavours and walked away with Sweet Apple Cider and Maple Sugar. How good do those sound?
I have tried the Sweet Apple Cider so far and it was really good. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet like actual apple cider but it tasted perfectly like apples in the fall.
I was obligated to get Maple Sugar… I’m Canadian after all.
After posting yesterday about how I sometimes feel “off” working out after donating blood, I have to say it might not have been the blood donation that made me feel that way. I have heard of at least two other people who have been really sick in the last couple of days so I guess there is something going around. I really hope I feel better really soon because I have a little half marathon next weekend. I hope it is just a 24-hour thing. In the past 23 hours I have eaten crackers and orange juice. Essentially I have missed like 8 meals, unheard of for me! If you could all forward some movie suggestions to me that would be great 🙂
