Christmas Shenanigans.

I have officially eaten enough biscotti and yams to hold me over for the next 4.3 years. The past couple of days have been a ton of fun and full of good food and great people. I was totally spoiled rotten this year, like every year, and I am pretty sure each person nailed their gifts this year because no one immediately asked for a gift receipt 😉 We traditionally have a fondue on Christmas Eve, so we dined on cheese and veggie platters and meat (not for me) and chocolate fondues with our neighbours. It was all so good and before we knew it, Santa was on his way and we headed to bed in our onesies. On Christmas morning we slept in, opened our stockings, made gingerbread pancakes, and then lazed around and opened the remaining gifts. I got the most perfect gifts ever… barre classes and a bike rack for my vehicle! I was beyond happy, my family knows me oh-so-well! I didn’t get out of my pajamas until 1pm and then spent an hour on my stationary bike burning off 0.3% of the calories I consumed yesterday. We enjoyed an early turkey dinner (yam dinner for me) with our neighbours and then spent the rest of the evening playing board games. Seriously some of the most wonderful quality time with my family and it was so relaxing. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and now for a major photo dump. I’ll try to limit my captions to three words per photo.

How were YOUR holidays?

  1. I’m back home (Jamaica) for the holidays and having a great time catching up with family and friends I even ran with a local running group that my friend belongs to this morning and got a good hill workout completed 🙂

It looks like you and your family had a great time! Awesome! I’ve never had gingerbread pancakes but the one’s your dad made look yummy 🙂
