It has been a while since I wrote about the songs I have been listening to lately! Obviously, the cultured musical guru that I am, I am so in touch with what the hottest tracks are and what will get your workout jammin’. In all seriousness, I find myself scouring the internet and radio more now than I ever have before because having new music in spin classes is AWESOME. I personally get tired of the same old songs every class so I pride myself on never having the same playlist twice!
When you want the lyrics to push you through your workout: “My Body” by Young the Giant.
When you want a little throwback Thursday remix: “Low [remix]” by Flo Rida ft. T-Pain.
When you want to dance it out in the weights section of the gym: “Sugar” by Maroon 5.

I like to tell my spin class they get bonus points if they can spin and dance at the same time. Music just makes working out so much fun! I know there are lots of people that hate the Top 40 charts and refuse to play the radio because they feel they are listening to the same songs over and over but I love hearing new music and who cares if it’s popular, if it makes me dance, it’s a keeper!
