Yesterday I had a so-so workout in the morning. I did my 20 minute run on the treadmill despite the warm weather and little wind because I wanted to do some strength training at the gym. It was just one of those days where nothing was clicking and I was just not into it. I stayed less than an hour at the gym and then just called it and went home. I did however decide to walk to work to enjoy some sunshine! I was excited about how hot it was.
Walking to work was fine, it’s the walking home when you’re tired and hungry and it’s 26 degrees that’s killer! Luckily, having one of these in the fridge at home waiting for me helped get me through.
I sure know how to subconsciously pair my beer with my food. I had a black bean burger, yam fries, and grilled zucchini. I concur with the suggestion, this beer made an excellent and refreshing choice with the summer BBQ meal! It was SO delicious.
That awkward moment when you’re healthy protein packed strawberry ‘nice cream’ becomes an unhealthy dessert. #TGIF I feel like chocolate was necessary.
When I was visiting homes to do surveys in a community nearby, the girl I was working with told me one of the houses was used in a movie two summers ago. I didn’t know anything about it and probably wouldn’t have given it a second thought except for the fact that LIAM HEMSWORTH was in it. YEAH.
Liam, I think we forgot to meet when you were here last summer?
Yeah, you are a handsome devil.
*wipes drool off of keyboard*
Anyway, the movie is called “Cut Bank” and it was filmed in Edmonton and the surrounding area last summer. It came out in April and I think played in select theatres but then went straight to DVD… wait, are DVDs still in? I watched it last night because I was curious what shots of the community were in it… and the other obvious reason.
I went to THIS house!! There were a couple of other shots while I was watching the movie and I was like, “I KNOW WHERE THAT IS!!” #stalker
Sooooo, obviously Liam will be doing another movie in Alberta because we completely forgot to meet last time he was here. The movie was really good in case you were wondering. I might be bias because I think Hems is a babe but I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was predictable but definitely made me want to watch the whole thing.
What was the last movie you watched?
Were you ever an extra in a movie?
Favourite summer dessert?
