I’m back with another edition of What I Ate Wednesday, linking up with Arman at The Big Man’s World and Jenn at Peas and Crayons. The goal of this link-up with other bloggers is to secretly judge each other for every single thing they eat throughout their day. Just kidding. 😉 It’s totally not. It’s a fun way to feature the foods you love, swap ideas for meals, and basically showcase a day in your life of food.
AM Workout: 3.3 miles (20 minutes running) + 45 minutes biceps, triceps, and shoulder strength training.
Breakfast: Egg whites with parmesan cheese, grilled plain tempeh, strawberries and raspberries, and coffee.
Morning Snack: I dined on plain greek yogurt with apple and cinnamon and a berry Nakd bar I found in my desk drawer at school.
Lunch: (unpictured) As per the title, I forgot to take a photo of one of my meals. I had a blackberry and pecan salad for lunch. It had romaine lettuce, dried blueberries, cucumber, black berries, pecans, wild rice, and balsamic vinegar. I realized 2 minutes after I finished eating it that I forgot to take a photo. Your loss. 😉
Dinner: Buenna Bella on rye bread from Press’d Sandwich shop. I have been curious about this shop for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Perfect pre-spin meal.
PM Workout: 60 minute spin class, taught be yours truly. One heck of a sweaty ride!
Evening Snack: Chocolate blueberry smoothie. Frozen blueberries, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, skim milk. This has become a nightly snack when I eat dinner early and I love it.
It was an unbelievably delicious day of eats. I promise that salad at lunch was beautiful and probably Instagram worthy… next time. 😉 I am headed out for a short run this morning… wait… all of my runs are shorter than normal! I am headed out for a
short run this morning, and I am going to try a bootcamp style workout. I need to change up my routine and now that it isn’t -6873 degrees in the morning, now’s the time!
