Fitness Friday: Get me back to the soccer field.

Fitness Friday time! I think every single morning this week I’ve woken up sore as hell and I can’t really think of any specific reason why? My hamstrings are impossibly tight and no amount of foam rolling seemed to fix them! I think the variety of activities is just lighting all of my muscles up and keeping my on my toes… but it’s also keeping me hella sore!

I actually went to a spin class last night instead of teaching it and it was awesome! I was able to just focus on my workout and listen to someone else tell me what to do but it was weird not having to talk the whole time! I also think classes go by faster when you’re teaching them! I love the Thursday night instructor though and I went with my mama so it was fun! This weekend I’m heading to Banff to run the Banff Marathon 10km race with Jo! I don’t really plan on racing at all, just running for funsies and then maybe doing some exploring after the race! It should be a good time!

Have you ever played squash?

What sports did you play growing up?

Weekend plans?! Tell me yours!

  1. I haven’t played squash, but I’d like to! I love playing all sports! Growing up, I was in track, tennis, gymnastics & soccer, but played softball, basketball & football with the boys because I am a lady-man… tom boy…or whatever.

    1. Hahaha, samesies. I played soccer on the boys team and was so sad when I reached high school and I wasn’t allowed to anymore. 😛
