Fitness Friday: ALL THE SPIN.

I was asked to sub a couple of spin classes this week, which definitely contributed to my week of workouts. While in some classes, such as step or bootcamp, it is possible for the instructor to demonstrate and then observe and correct participants, spin class is different. I get just as good of a workout as my participants. I push myself and am able to use my RPE to instruct how my participants should be feeling. I leave all my classes sweaty and exhausted. Having to talk through a spin class while working hard comes with fitness level and adrenaline… three classes of spin this week was great because I got a different set of people and different demographic and energy in each one!

Holy cow. My legs were fried after last night’s spin class. I got up early to walk to work and then walked home, changed, and taught spin, and then when I got home it felt like my legs were restless because of how exhausted they were. Do you ever get that? It’s suppose to be super nice weather this weekend so I’m excited to spend some time outdoors and away from my computer. I’ve been glued to it this week for work, school, and apartment hunting… I’m ready for a break!

  1. I’m actually jealous of how much walking you get to do in the city! I have to drive everywhere! Also jealous that you can cycle. I’m too afraid to ride around town on the actual road because it’s scary. HAHA

  2. Love how much you include walking in your week! It is one of my favourite things to do to get in daily movement. My legs have definitely gotten the restless feeling before, so annoying! Haha usually after long runs.
