Fitness Friday: Sore arms and spin classes.

You guys! Did this week fly by for anyone else. I’m extremely thankful it’s Friday but I also had a really good week. I really enjoy walking to and from work every day because it gets me moving especially when I spend the rest of the time sitting at my desk. I have also tried to get out and go for a short 20 minute walk at lunch as well, at least while the weather is still really nice! With this 12,000 step goal each day, I really pay attention to making sure I get lots of walking throughout the day in! Don’t forget to link up your fitness posts at the bottom!

For the most part my days this week looked like this: (6am) Wake up and get ready for work, (7:30am) walk to work, (8:15-12pm) work work work, (12-1pm) eat lunch and wander around downtown, (1-4:30pm) work work work, (4:30-5pm) walk home, (5-6pm) eat dinner and make my spin playlist and list of drills, (6-6:30pm) drive to the gym, (7-8:30ish) teach spin, (9pm) get home and have a snack and shower, (9:30-11pm) work on thesis revisions, blog, and catch up on my personal emails.

It was exhausting. It was also productive and fun and I tried new things like bouldering, and got to teach an extra spin class this week which is always awesome. I can’t wait for the weekend. I have my National Parks pass affixed to my rearview mirror and my hiking pack has been waiting for some action for a while. 🙂

What are you up to this weekend?

What was the latest fitness class/workout/thing you tried?

Are you training for anything right now?

Do you plan to continue in the winter? Or maybe invest in a fat tire bike?

Sounds like a great weekend ahead! I am planning a day trip for tomorrow. Sunday long run with my run club and pizza and movie date with a friend!

The last fitness class I tried was apparatus pilates! It was super intimidating to me, but I really enjoyed it and man was I sore the next day!
