Fitness Friday: The week of blisters.

As I mentioned in this bitter post, I spent the majority of last weekend getting some lovely blisters on my feet from trying to win a FitBit challenge. I got some good workouts in this past week despite the painful feet so let’s take a look at my fitness with this week in Fitness Friday.

Fitness Friday Canadian Girl Runs

Friday, September 9

Walk in the river valley and to dinner and back (120 minutes)

Saturday, September 10

8.0 mile run (slow)

Sunday, September 11

90 minute walk along the river valley

60 minutes cycling indoors on my road bike (wind trainer)

Monday, September 12

Walk to and from work (60 minutes total)

60 minute spin class (instructing)

Tuesday, September 13

Walk to and from work (60 minutes total)

3.11 mile run (8:58 min/mile)

Wednesday September 14

Walk to and from work (60 minutes total)

90 minute spin class (instructing)

Thursday, September 15

OFF

I definitely got a lot of walking in this week. I was kind of all over the place in terms of doing work orientation in a different location from my office, I had school on Friday and some things to do on the weekend so it took away from some time to run or bike but I certainly made it work. I have so far hit my 12,000 step goal every day in September so I’m excited to keep that streak going until at least the end of the month!
