Last night was the first fall spin class! It always feels good to take a couple weeks off in between sessions to refresh, develop new drills, and get out of any music rut. I’m becoming known at my gym for my theme spin classes (80s, rock, boy band, one hit wonders, etc.) but I always try and start the first class with some fun and upbeat music that makes you want to dance. I find it gets EVERYONE into it in case they don’t like rock music or they weren’t into 90s pop. Here are a few of my latest faves.
Yesterday I had my first day of official orientation at my new job. It was such a cool experience to meet the other interns that are working in different departments and it made me even more excited for my current position. We even ended the day half an hour early which meant I could spend a little extra time last minute planning for my spin class. I think the true test of my spin teaching abilities will come tomorrow when I start teaching a 90-minute class. SEND HELP. I will need like three pairs of cycling shorts on for that one. 😉
