Fitness Friday: The week that got away from me!

TGIF! I say that every week, but I really mean it every week. I am meeting my guy friend for a beer promptly when we finish work, so I’m hoping this day flies by. Welcome to another edition of Fitness Friday! I am getting very excited for the GoodLife Fitness to open near my house. I am struggling to have the time to workout after work and I’m too scared/cold to run in the morning so I will be STOKED to get back to consistent morning workouts!

Friday, September 30

OFF; walk 60 minutes to and from work

Saturday, October 1

60 minutes upper body strength training

60 minutes spinning (drills)

45 minute walk with my brother

60 minutes walking to and from downtown movie theatre!

Sunday, October 2

5.0 mile run (8:52 min/mile)

Monday, October 3

60 minutes walk to and from work

60 minute spin class (instructing)

Tuesday, October 4

60 minutes walk to and from work

45 minute walk with my mom!

Wednesday, October 5

60 minutes walk to and from work

90 minute spin class (instructing)

Thursday, October 6

60 minutes walk to and from work

45 minutes indoor cycling on wind trainer

It was a lot of cycling this week which means not a ton of running. It got COLD real quick up in here, so as I mentioned I am so excited for the gym to open near my house! It’s crazy how easy it is to get a good workout on my bike at home, even just 20 minutes in I am sweating, so that will definitely come in handy in the winter. The worst part about last night’s workout was that I was having a really good hair day and it was a shame to get it sweaty. Ah, such is life.
