Fitness Friday: I’m on a hiking streak.

I have had two successive weekends of hiking and I’m heading out for a third as you likely read this. I’m cruising south (with my brother!!) for some hiking with Jo and Jen and I’m super duper excited! Let’s dive into a look at my week of workouts!

Fitness Friday Canadian Girl Runs

Friday, November 4

60 minutes walking to and from work

3.15 mile lunch run (9:26 min/mile)

Saturday, November 5

Morro Peak hike (3 hours)

Old Fort Loop (1 hour)

Sunday, November 6

30 minutes stationary rower

30 minutes strength training

30 minutes elliptical

2 hour walk with friends around downtown Edmonton

Monday, November 7

60 minutes walking to and from work

20 minute walk at lunch

60 minute spin class (instructing)

Tuesday, November 8

60 minutes walking to and from work

OFF

Wednesday, November 9

60 minutes walking to and from work

90 minute spin class (instructing)

Thursday, November 10

60 minutes walking to and from work

45 minute walk at lunch

60 minute spin class (instructing)

Yesterday I subbed a spin class where I teach and I put a random Facebook call out to my friends and family to show up! I was so happy when two of my awesome guy friends rolled into class. They know how happy it makes me when friends come to class (and how happy I get when I’m trying my hardest to kick their ass in spin class) so it made the class that much better! I hadn’t seen them in so long since I moved downtown! I was planning on heading to check out my new gym on Tuesday for the grand opening of GoodLife Brewery District but as you can see the rest of my week has some awesome and exhausting workouts and I needed the break! I’m going to be hitting up the gym on Sunday and I can’t wait to show you guys!
