I’m really excited to be participating in this year’s Canadian Blogger Christmas Ornament Exchange, as it’s my third year joining in the fun! A huge thank you to Leigh and Lindsey for being awesome hosts. Last year I received an amazingly perfect ornament from Heather (Girl Goes Running) and this year I was paired up with Ange (Cowgirl Runs).
Ange and I were able to exchange ornaments at Brie’s Christmas party on the weekend and I’m pretty sure she KILLED IT. You can head over to her blog to see what I gave her, but apparently we know each other pretty well! I sadly don’t have a Christmas tree, but I do have my lit birch tree (which, for those who asked, you can find it at Costco), so I placed my adorable mountain ornaments on that tree.
Ange also gave me a travel pack of Davids Tea and some dark chocolate – it’s like I talk nonstop about those two things all over the internet or something. 😉 I took the travel pack of tea to work, dumped the tea packets into my drawer, and am currently using the cute little case to carry lipsticks around in my purse. I am trying to be more bold with my lip colour and I’ve worn a plum colour and a matte mocha colour this week. I really felt good with them on, more confident and adventurous, but I had to keep reminding myself I had it on and not to mess it up!
I tried out the chocolate covered almond tea first. It seemed like the natural choice based on my sweet tooth preferences and it was delicious! I usually stick to peppermint or lemon or camomile tea but it’s fun to try new ones. These little packs are great for seeing it you like a certain flavour before committing to buying more. I’m excited to try “coffee cafe” tea!
You can find the other bloggers ornaments on Leigh’s link-up today. I think everyone did a really great job at picking the perfect ornaments. This gift exchange is unique because we focus on ornaments and not just “gifts” which makes it both harder but more fun!
